Velour beach towels are so luxurious and rich that they could be wrapped around a person and worn like a dress or a ‘cover-up’ while strolling along the beach, boardwalk or pool area.

Most velour beach towels don’t have a picture or character drawing on them because they are so thick and absorbent there is no room for a character or drawing. They might have a design or pattern sewn into the fabric but there isn’t room in the thick fabric for a colorful cartoon person. Large beach towels are simply oversized beach towels that are more squared then rectangular and can be used for two to four people depending on if they are lying down or sitting up. Large beach towels could be used by two people lying out to get a tan on the beach or in the back yard. A typical beach towel that is larger in size could accommodate four people for a picnic if they are sitting up and sitting at the edges or corners of the beach towel. People might take a large beach towel to a winery to sit out in a designated area for a picnic or concert of music and wine tasting.

Large beach towels are also good for kids to make ‘forts’ or ‘tents’ in the living room with the couch cushions. Large beach towels are very versatile and can be used as small children’s blankets, towels and even table clothes outside for a picnic or inside on a table for collecting spills from painting and other craft projects.
