Jar Candle Holds Soy Candle Mixture Because of its Softness, Other Containers Make Room for Soy Candles

A jar candle could be scented and produced out of paraffin wax which is a byproduct of petroleum oil or made with soy which is a cleaner burning wax than paraffin and will last up to 50 percent longer. Soy candles are made of softer wax therefore they need to be inside a container like a jar, cup, glass bowl or other decorative holder. They do not stand alone like other candles which are harder by the nature of their makeup or materials.
Regular paraffin wax candles are manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes such as short, thick candles, long, tapered candles, birthday number candles, holiday candles and small votive candles. Most votive candles are scented candles in a wide range of flowers or fruits and spices. A small votive candle typically has its own special holder that resembles a shot glass only straighter and not tapered. The votive candles fit into the holders with a small amount of room left at the top for the candle wick and flame to burn without going over the top or touching the edges.
Votive candles, as well as larger, pillar candles, come in a variety of scents such as blueberry, apricot, lemon, pine tree, nutmeg, cinnamon, jasmine, musk, linen, geranium, lily, carnation, roses, strawberry, and many, many others which could be mixed and matched to make unique scents combinations burning freshly throughout a house
When an individual smells a scent, that smell enters the nostrils and travels across the olfactory nerves located inside the nose. Then the scent heads upwards to the part of the brain which holds memories, moods and a person’s ability to learn new things. In this area, endorphins neurotransmitters and other ‘feel-good’ chemicals are released when stimulated by different scents. Put another way, various scents affect a person’s mood and emotions.
The scent of apples, oranges, water lily, sweat pea or basil will release happiness in people. The scent of clove, myrrh, cypress, palmarosa, Eucalyptus, hops, pine, spearmint, sandalwood and melon from burning candles are all helpful scents because of their healing properties.
