With the holidays fast approaching many people like to gather their friends and have pre-holiday parties in which everyone helps everyone else with things like wrapping presents or baking cookies. 

With the cookie baking party, it usually begins in the morning and lasts until the afternoon and people bring their favorite Disney cookie cutters or any type of cookie cutter everyone might enjoy adding that type of cookie to the collection.  Everyone brings a recipe and they take turns making different types of cookies or it could be just a sugar cookie party in which everyone piles their most treasured cookie cutter sets into the middle of the table so everyone could have a chance to have a variety of cookies to give to friends, family, teachers, secretaries, babysitters, cleaning lady, mailman, church friends or perhaps even an exercise buddy.

Having a cookie building day with all of your friends makes for a fun and relaxing day and gets the chore of making cookies done faster, easier and you’ll end up with a bigger variety of cookies when the day is done.

It’s best to decide ahead of time whose kitchen is the largest and whose house would accommodate the most cooks at one time.  Another option would be to see if your local church would be available on a Saturday afternoon so that you and all of your friends can travel to the church and spread out a little in a bigger kitchen, and using your favorite Mickey Mouse cookie cutter, make cookies on an assembly line style and then donate some of the cookies for the Ladies Auxiliary, Bible study groups or Sunday school classes.

Cookie making day could also be a great fundraiser for groups such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, school bands or church groups. There are so many possibilities for unique cookies from all the different cookie cutters available on the market today that there are sure to be a few that will fit any occasion including a wedding, birthday parties, Christmas parties, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs or just everyday tea parties.
